Kauai... finally!

Finally, pictures from our Kauai trip last May! Since I spent so much time uploading my words will be few. Penny should be awake soon :-)

Lucy on the flight attempting to watch a movie. She got frustrated with headphones that didn't fit so the movie didn't last long.

There was this neat cave on the way to one of the beaches we visited. I'm standing in the cave taking a pict of Harm & the van :-)

Notice how they are all leaving... but I'm still at the house taking picts :-) Margaret and I took the car and met them at the beach

Our last day, thanks Papa and Gramma!!

Welcome Penelope!

Hello! Well it's been a while hasn't it? Since May..... and I never got that Kauai post done. Someday, I promise. This is gonna be a quickie since time is now a precious commodity.

On November 12th at 5:24pm we welcomed Penelope Rose Weber into our family. Oddly that was the day of my "just in case" c-section so many people think I had a CS. Nope, I went into labor that morning and had her just about half an hour before I was scheduled to be cut open. She was 8.3lbs and 20 inches with a full head of black hair! "Penelope" comes from the Beatles song Penny Lane, and "Rose" is after Gramma B who always smelled like roses (I didn't think Bernice went well with Penny).

Daddy with his two daughters!! Oh my goodness!

So far Lucy has been a great big sister. She's had sleeping issues (not wanting to...) and some temper tantrums but overall she seems to be adjusting well. All day long she wants to hold, kiss, and hug Penny.
