Saturday:
I check my email as usual. Spam, spam, junk, family, Influenster, Spam... wait, what?! Influnster?! "You are getting the Keurig VoxBox"! Aaaaaugh! I can't believe it! I excitedly text my husband and post the email on Instagram. I'M GETTING A FREE KEURIG!!
Monday: A large box is delivered to my door. The delivery driver says it's the first Keurig box he has needed a signature on. I tell him about Influenster of course! Now comes the frustrating part- I'm leaving town today for a few days. I must wait to use my new toy!
Friday:
I'm finally home! I open the large box and find the beautiful, shiny, black Keurig 2.0 neatly packaged. I'm dissappointed to see so much waste, however. The machine is wrapped in plastic and styrofoam. There are flyers for the K-cups, flyers telling me how awesome the Keurig is (I'm not sure why those are in there since I clearly have the product), and a plethora of other papers about the machine, company, and products they sell. There are sample single cups and carafe cups.
I take out all the parts and follow the simple instructions. Once I get the machine put together I realize that no where in the instructions did it tell me to put the water filter in or plug it in. The cord is tightly wound inside so I have to take off the water container and that's just a hassle. Then I open the water filter pack and it has instructions which lead me to, once again, take off the water container. Sheesh, this seems too complicated.
I finally get this all together and I'm left with a large box and a ton of trash. Plus the Keurig is large and takes up a ton of space. The carafe is just another item to store until I use it. Great. I follow the instructions and make my first cup of coffee in my new, shiny Keurig. It's great and easy. The machine works as advertised and I suppose that's important. However, the 10+ minutes it took me to put it together (5 minutes to soak the water filter) combined with the large, clunky, space taking machine just make it clear to me that this is something I would never buy. We have a normal Black & Decker coffee pot and a small Hamilton Beach single-cup coffee maker (which I love!!!).
I think that this Keurig will only be brought out for special occasions. For many reasons. Mostly because I have several K-cups that I use in my Hamilton Beach and NONE of them will work in this new Keurig. It takes only specialy designed cups that have a colored ring around them. I can't use my regular coffee with this machine, which I CAN with my H-B and that machine came with the filter for it (unlike any Keurig, it's a separate purchase).

Payless is misleading you
Check out this pair of kids shoes. 
The normal price is $19.99 and the sale price is $19.99. How is that possible? My first thought was that they were in the wrong box. Then I saw this:
These are the same style shoes in a different size. As you can see the original price tag has a sticker on it that says $22.99. Under that sticker is the original price of $19.99. I was a bit taken aback by that. What is going on here?
That's when I noticed the sales lady with stickers in her hands putting these higher priced stickers on the shoes. Here are a few more examples.
Under the $24.99 sticker is a price of $19.99. Really, how are these on sale then??!!
And this one too. Under the $17.99 sticker price it shows the price being $14.99. Sure this one is actually on sale, but why be misleading??
I left the store with a strange feeling. Why I Payless doing this? Why are they misleading their customers? Why are they saying a shoe is on sale when it's not really?
