Missouri

We just got back from a week in Missouri at Lake of the Ozarks.  It's a really fun place, you should consider it some time for a vacation.  It's HUGE and there are so many neat things to do.
We stayed at a small place called Lakeview Resort where they are mostly individual cabins with some apartment-like rooms.  If you do decide to go here be warned: you are expected to bring all of your own supplies.  This is not a hotel where they offer room service or supply any towels/toiletries.

There were two bedrooms, one on each side of the shared bathroom.  They both looked the same.

Happy 4th of July!  We flew out on the 4th to have a great evening with family.

Getting ready to watch fireworks

The next day we went out on a pontoon boat.  Of course, we had to have a special cooler for the three beers we were bringing!!  LOL, they filled it up later with cokes and water but I thought it was pretty funny that this was all that was in it to begin with.

After watching Daddy on the tube Lucy wanted a turn.  Joe went nice and easy so she didn't have a hard time like her old Dad. ;-)  We had a fun time on the boat that day.  We saw a lot of huge mansions and other houses that were along the lake.  We swam and cooled off from the 112* heat.  It was a great day to be out on the lake.  Well except that Daniel went swimming with his phone in his pocket.... oops!

Getting some Penny love :-)

I cannot believe Penny is wearing this suit!  Lucy wore it when we went to Kauai... when I was pregnant with Penny!

Penny making silly faces on the balcony :-)

When it finally cooled off (to like 85?) we took a walk in the resort to play on the old-school playground.

Remember these???!!

Lucy and Daniel went parasailing!!!!!  I missed seeing it (ugh!) but here's the photo they got from the company they did it with.  Lucy had so much fun on this trip, I'm hoping she will remember it forever!  She went on the water tube, went parasailing, rode a jet ski, drove in a go kart, and so much more!!  It was a trip I will never forget.

On our second to last day we went to Stewart's to have their big cinnamon roll.
(I didn't take a photo of the cinnamon roll but I found this one below)

Penny LOVED it!!

Lucy LOVED imitating Penny ;-)

On the drive to the airport, so sad to be leaving!!

Enjoying our wonderful upgrade to first class!  Oh those seats make it so much more comfortable to fly with a baby on your lap.

We had a wonderful time, thank you Joe and Margaret for the experience!!!
