Lucy met her great-grampa Odom today. He is temporarily in a nursing center to help him recover from being ill. My dad, my brother, Lucy, and I all went together to see him. I cannot remember the last time my family was together like that. While I am sad that Grampa being ill brought us together like that I am very glad that the three of us got to spend time together.
I am very sad that my Grampa is getting older like this. It makes me want to cry thinking that he won't be here forever. I love him so much. I still have all my grandparents but my husband doesn't. I just can't comprehend losing any of them- it's just not going to happen!
